Once the old texture has been removed and the ceiling repaired, you may choose to have another type of texture in its’ place such as knockdown, orange peel or just smooth ceilings.
Yes! Once the texture has been removed and ceiling has been properly addressed, it may then be painted.
If the ceiling has never been painted prior to removing popcorn, it can be scraped off. However, if the ceiling has been painted previously, the popcorn texture would need to be power sanded.
